A new Bradford on Avon Leg Club, opening next month, will host a coffee morning on Thursday to highlight the work it will be doing.
The club will be at Wiltshire Heights Care Home on Thursdays, from 10am to 1pm, from February 6, and is available to patients registered with Bradford on Avon and Melksham Health Partnership.
It is hoped about 50 patients a week with lower limb problems, such as leg ulcers, wet legs and oedema, will attend. Specialist nurses and health care assistants will treat and dress patients’ legs.
Ellie Lindsay, founder of the Lindsay Leg Club Foundation, will be at the coffee morning at 10am at the care home. Visitors will be able hear experiences of other members.
