M&S food store launch brings 70 new jobs

THE brand new M&S Simply Food at Mannington Retail Park opens its doors to customers for the first time tomorrow, bringing 70 new jobs to the area.
The 9,000 sq ft store will include a café with seating for 48, where customers can enjoy Fairtrade tea and coffee as well as a selection of sandwiches and cakes.
An in-store bakery will offer a range of speciality breads, pastries and cakes, freshly baked each day.
Customers will also have almost 4,500 quality food and drink lines available to them, as well as a selection of flowers and cards.
Store manager Chris Hughes, said: “As the countdown to opening begins, we’re looking forward to finally welcoming customers into the new store.
“Shoppers will be able to enjoy a great range of delicious M&S food and drink and a fantastic new M&S café.
“We hope that people can join us next week to help celebrate launch day, and look forward to welcoming customers into store over the coming weeks and months.”
