Learning Curve Day Nursery celebrated ten years since opening its doors on Friday with the people who have helped to get it where it is today.

The nursery, in Brinkworth Road, Royal Wootton Bassett, started off with only four young children in 2004 and it now welcomes around 75 youngsters every day.

Alan Butler, who owns the nursery with his wife, Naida Malik, said: “When you start a business you never know where you are going to be in ten years’ time.

“We have become quite an established part of the community.”

The celebrations on Friday welcomed many people who have been involved in the nursery over the years, including the architect, a builder, parents, staff members and the Chairman of CALM, which the nursery raises funds for. Children helped to welcome guests including the mayor.
