Designs for a new water pumping station, storage tank and treatment building in Codford were put on display to the public last week.
Wessex Water’s exhibition at the Village Hall shows the Codford part of its planned new supply grid scheme.
It wants to redistribute surplus water to where it is needed by creating a pipeline from Dorset to Wiltshire.
The Codford project will be on a new site adjacent to the existing works.
New infrastructure will include a 19km water main between the works and Camp Hill, near Salisbury.
