A 49-year-old man who is accused of breaching a non molestation order has been remanded in custody.
Winston Burke is said to have failed to comply with the court order by phoning the woman on Christmas Eve.
No charges were formally put to the defendant during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court on Friday and he did not enter any pleas.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Friday March 14 and remanded Burke, of Duke Street, Trowbridge, in custody until then.
