Members of the DS Big Band are hoping regulars at their annual gig at the Farmhouse Inn, Southwick, will be able to wait an extra week to hear their sounds as the date has had to be changed.

The band, which plays music from the big band era, such as the sounds popularised by Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman, appear at the Frome Road pub every year, usually on the first week in February.

However this year they have had to put their gig, planned for February 5, back to Wednesday, February 12, still at 8pm, and hope it will not put too many people off attending – although it could also be a chance for more fans to hear them.

If you can’t get to The Farmhouse next month, the band is planning a gig at The Arc in Trowbridge on May 2.
