Organisers of Devizes Film Festival are encouraging movie makers to bring forward their films.
The inaugural event will be held in June and has been organised in conjunction with Devizes Festival.
Paul Chapman, one of the organisers, said: “Our aim with the Devizes Film Festival is to give film makers the opportunity to screen their films in Devizes and to share their work, but most importantly, we want people to be proud of their films and to talk about them.”
He said one local film maker, Oliver Daltrey, had submitted a trailer for the festival and would be making a music video depicting the history of Devizes.
All the information to enter the festival is on the website, www.devizesfilmfestival.co.uk or email devizesfilmfestival@gmail.com for an information pack.
The winning films will be screened at a showcase event in June and will be hosted on the Deizes Film Festival website.
