Able Seaman Chris Johns-Lines, 26, from Trowbridge has graduated as a Warfare Specialist from HMS Collingwood, in Hampshire.

He completed his Phase 2 training with Victory Squadron having joined the Navy in July last year.

The course was on setting up and operating the Navy’s systems to provide information to ships on air and surface activity.

Originally from Frome, he now lives in Trowbridge with his parents Stewart and Cheryl.

A keen basketball and shooting enthusiast, Chris is following in the footsteps of his grandfather, who was a gunner in the Royal Navy.
