CANNABIS has been seized and one man arrested after three drugs warrants were carried out in East Swindon this morning.

Two warrants were carried out in Park South and one in Liden. A quantity of Cannabis and Class B drugs were seized as a result of the raids.

A 26-year-old man from Conan Doyle Walk was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The warrants were executed as part of an on-going operation to tackle drug supply in the East Sector of Swindon.

PC Tom Ashfield said: "We know the negative impact that drugs misuse can have on a community. Today has hopefully shown that we are being proactive and trying to bring those to justice who are causing the most harm to our communities."
