A charity chest wax raised £120 for the Ramp Up The Red heart disease appeal.
The event at the British Heart Foundation’s furniture and electrical store in Fore Street, Trowbridge, saw shop manager James Chilton have his chest waxed with colleagues Mike Clark and Dean Hulbert dressed in drag.
The money raised on February 7 will go towards research into heart conditions and treatment for them.
Mr Clark said: “We spread the word in local shops and we had a good turnout. It helped raise awareness and also showed that we aren’t afraid to have a little fun.”
Debbie Cheesman, British Heart Foundation area manager, thanked everyone who supported the event.
She said: “We appreciate the help and would welcome more support.”
