HUNDREDS of residents from all over Wiltshire have taken part in BBC Question Time tonight.

From 10.35pm on BBC One, the current affairs show will broadcast from New College in Walcot, where the programme hosted by David Dimbleby was recorded earlier this evening.

Tonight’s panel includes Defence Secretary Philip Hammond, Shadow Health Minister Liz Kendall, former leader of the Liberal Democrats Charles Kennedy, author Jeanette Winterson and philosopher Roger Scruton.

All faced a variety of different questions from audience members on a range of issues.

Albertine Davies, from Eldene, was one of those fortunate enough to get a spot in the audience.

She said: “it was brilliant fun.
“There was a really convivial atmosphere.

“David Dimblelby spoke to us beforehand to tell us how it was going to go and we got to ask him questions like, ‘have you ever had to throw someone out’.

“Lots of different questions were asked and topics discussed, and it was a really fun night."
