Malmesbury Town Council has a new website after its previous site was attacked by a Trogan virus which caused it to have to be closed down completely in autumn last year.

Now, after months without details of council meetings, councillors’ contact details or tourist information such as where to stay and attractions to visit, the new look site is up and full of new features.

As well as featuring some well-known imagery from local photographer Robert Peel, the site provides a what’s on guide, cinema listings, information on the new community hub and information points for tourists.

Councillor Kim Power said: “We wanted something that was clean, sleek looking and modern and I am absolutely thrilled with it.

“Justin and Ruth Jeffrey at Mindvision (a local firm) created it and are to be commended because they have gone far beyond what we asked for.”
