High praise for Worton pub pint

Worton pub landlords Keith and Margaret Green have been recognised for the quality of their beer.
They passed a rigorous inspection to be awarded the prestigious Cask Marque.
The couple have run the Rose and Crown in the village for the past three years and it is their first pub.
Mr Green, 51, said: “This award is a great endorsement for us. A lot of our customers visit the pub especially for the cask ale and it is gratifying to know we are getting the quality just right.”
Mr Green said the pub, which also offers food cooked by his wife, was entered for the Cask Marque award by owners Enterprise Inns.
The inspection was carried out over two visits by a qualified brewer.
The Rose and Crown stocks two real ales, Wadworth 6X from Devizes and Cornish ale Sharps Doom Bar, and if it is hosting special events it usually has two others available.
Due to the award, the pub is now part of the World’s Biggest Ale Trail, where users of the CaskFinder app can visit accredited pubs to try their ale.
