M6 crash victim named as Swindon man

A man killed after his car and a lorry collided on the M6, near junction 10 at Walsall on Sunday has been named as Benjamin Elliman from Swindon.

It is thought he died at the scene, while the Asda lorry driver was assessed and did not need hospital treatment.

The accident shut the motorway until just before noon as emergency services swarmed the scene.
