People had their say on the future needs of the area during a meeting on Monday.

During the meeting, called What Matters to You, everybody voted to decide what the Marlborough Area Board should focus on next year.

The chosen issues were: involving broader backgrounds in Area Board meetings; investigating long waits for GP appointments, harder to reach children, delivery of superfast broadband, reducing traffic through the town centre, affordable housing for local people, more 20mph speed restrictions outside schools, improving young people’s access to community activities, reducing flooding, and developing cultural programmes.
