Mead Primary School in Trowbridge has been given a Food for Life Partnership Bronze award for its healthy eating programme and climate-friendly food.
The school has its own garden – part of Trowbridge schools’ Big Community Grow project – to produce its own food.
Pupils from the school in Hackett Place, which last month earned an outstanding rating from Ofsted, have also been taken to farms to learn how to grow and cook their own produce.
