Filipino café owner Tess Ryan ran the London Marathon for the second time in memory of her brother Jon Fordelon, who died in the Philippines from kidney failure.
Mrs Ryan, who runs the Sampaguita Café in St Mary’s Courtyard, Calne, finished in six hours and 11 minutes.
She had to raise £2,100 for Kidney Research UK to run.
Mrs Ryan, 40, said: “When I crossed the finish line there was a reporter saying ‘how was your experience?’ They interviewed me and I burst into tears because I’m running for my brother and it was very emotional.”
