Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to a road rage incident which happened near Trowbridge.

The incident took place on Saturday, April 5, at about 6pm at West Ashton after a blue BMW and a black Vauxhall Corsa came to a stop at the Stoney Gutter traffic lights.

The driver of the Corsa left the vehicle and an altercation ensued between him and the driver of the BMW.

This resulted in the driver's side door of the BMW being opened and the car keys being stolen.

Police want to speak to the driver and passengers of the men who were inside the Corsa and have issued pictures of the men they would like to speak to in connection with this incident.

It is thought that the Corsa was driven off in Keevil direction and that the keys were handed into police three hours later, after they were found by the roadside in Seend Cleeve.

A black Vauxhall Corsa was found by police in Southmead, Chippenham, on the evening of April 5.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC 1946 Sarah Pulman or PC 2400 Lauren Chivers on 101. Information can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
