Sainsbury’s in Calne has raised £214.95 towards an extension for the town’s Scout hut by selling hundreds of knitted Easter creatures over the holiday period.
Staff at the store in The Pippin chose the Calne Scouts as its charity of the year last year, and to date has raised just over £2,000 for its extension.
Supermarket worker Lynn Clark helped to make the Easter creatures alongside volunteers at the Community Hub.
The store also raised funds for the Calne Scouts with a car boot sale on Sunday.
