Abbeyfield House, which provides sheltered accommodation in Bradford on Avon, celebrated being awarded a Gold Star for its high standards in caring for its residents.
The award was given by Abbeyfield Society after an inspection by an independent assessor and it is a mark of quality residents can expect to receive while staying at the home.
Abbeyfield House opened 31 years ago and today it provides supported sheltered accommodation for up to 11 residents, whose average age is around 90.
Chair of the executive committee Julian Long thanked the staff, home manager Helen Clewlow, and volunteers.
