Hundreds of tradespeople and DIYers have visited the new Screwfix store in Devizes.

The store, at Devizes Trade Centre, Hopton Park, officially opened at the end of last month. It is the company’s 338th in the UK, employs 13 staff and is open seven days a week.

Store manager Mike Davey said: “We chose to open a new store in Devizes because it’s a growing market town with a great trade presence. Many of our customers already shopped with us at our Chippenham and Swindon stores and are delighted to see us here, as they no longer have to travel so far. We are looking forward to building a successful business here.”
