Trowbridge rugby fans are in a jubilant mood as they arrive at Twickenham to see the first team take on Leek in the final of the RFU Intermediate Cup at 3pm.

The 12 coaches laid on by the club have arrived at the home of English rugby in bright sunshine and the atmosphere is buzzing.

Club member Bruce Leworthy said: "It's a fantastic occasion and a dream come true for everyone at the club.

"It's always been a lovely club with a good family atmosphere, so this is wonderful.

"This is a once in a lifetime occasion for the lads and I think they will do well. But win or lose it's going to be a great day."

Janis Cadby, who has made the journey with daughter Eva, six, said: "I've been to Twickenham before, but this is completely different.

"Facebook was buzzing this morning and everyone was talking about the game. "The atmosphere at the club before we left was great and it is a fantastic day for Trowbridge."

Rob Willcox, under 8s coach at Trowbridge Rugby Club, said: "I'm really looking forward to the game. It's a great day out for everyone, win or lose.

"It was a great atmosphere on the coach on the way up and we are just looking forward to a good game.

"I'm sure the lads will be nervous, but hopefully they go out there and enjoy the occasion."
