A JUDGE has issued a warrant for the arrest of a man who is said to have failed to complete a community order imposed for handling stolen goods.
Peter Jones was put on drug rehabilitation after admitting having the items which a housemate had taken in a string of burglaries.
But the 28-year-old, formerly of Aylesbury House, Aylesbury Street, in the town centre, is said to have failed on the order.
When he failed to attend Swindon Crown Court for a breach hearing Judge Douglas Field issued a warrant without bail for his arrest.
Jones admitted having a computer, mountain bike, TV, games console and other items during the few days leading up to his arrest in May last year.
The items had been stolen in burglaries in Cross Street, Dixon Street and Eastcott Hill.
