Goughs Solicitors raised £1,500 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance by fielding a team of runners in the Corsham 10k.
This was the first year the firm has competed and more than 20 staff took part in the race on Sunday, April 27.
Goughs solicitor Phil Bolton said: “It was really encouraging to see such a great response by my fellow runners. We are all aware of the life-saving work that the Wiltshire Air Ambulance undertakes and are proud to announce that they are our charity partner of the year.”
The charity does not receive government funding and relies entirely on the generous support of the local community and businesses. From January 2015, it will cost £2.5m a year to keep the air ambulance operational.
Martin Lang, commercial partner in the firm’s Corsham office, said: “What a fantastic race. It was great to see so many people running and raising money for so many good causes.”
Goughs would also like to thank Springfield Leisure Centre in Corsham for supporting its runners throughout their training.
