A pedestrian has suffered severe leg injuries after colliding with a grey BMW this evening on the A361 near Semington.
The 19-year-old man has been taken to Royal United Hospital in Bath by road ambulance with severe leg fractures and his injuries are described as possibly life changing.
He was seen running from the direction of Semington to Trowbridge before the incident, which happened at 7.05pm.
The road has now reopened, and the police, who are not appealing for witnesses, are now carrying out investigations
