Police in Calne have warned of the dangers of shining laser pens at drivers after two incidents.
A woman was driving in the Blacklands area, past the North Wiltshire Golf Club, on Saturday, May 4, around 9pm when someone shone a green laser pen into her eyes and gave her a fright.
She did not stop because she was on her own, but police searched the area. They could not find anyone and advised her to see a doctor if she began to get a headache.
Police also went to Mill Street on Wednesday last week just after 9pm after a member of the public reported a group of youths with two mopeds and green laser torches.
They were shining them at passing people and cars, but when police went to the area they could not find the group.
