Pupils from Oasis Academy Longmeadow Primary School helped out at the annual Christian Aid bread and cheese lunch at St James’ Church Hall in Trowbridge last Thursday.
The event, held in support of Christian Aid Week, also featured a performance from the choir at St John’s Catholic Primary School in Trowbridge, as well as stalls selling cakes and bric-a-brac.
This year’s lunch raised £750 for the international development charity, with the money going towards vulnerable people in countries such as Syria, South Sudan and Iraq.
Food contributions for the lunch were also donated by the ASDA, Tesco and Sainsbury’s supermarkets in Trowbridge.
