A MAN was taken to hospital after being bottled in the face during a violent 15-man brawl at the bottom of Victoria Hill in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The man suffered serious injuries as a result and was taken to Great Western Hospital’s resuscitation ward.

The road around Regent Circus was closed for all of Sunday morning while details of the fight, believed to have involved about 15 men outside Dream Lounge, were established.

Three men in their early 20s have been arrested for grievous bodily harm and were taken into custody at Gablecross Police Station.

Forensic officers combed the scene, laying out evidence cones in a trail leading past the Dream Lounge towards the Gandhi restaurant.
