THE passenger who passed away following a collision on Thamesdown Drive yesterday has been named as 33-year-old Paul Winters, from Swindon.
The 61-year-old driver of the red Nissan involved in the crash, believed to be the father of Mr Winters, is currently in Southmead Hospital with critical but non-life threatening injuries.
After the collision at around 6.30am at the entrance to the Orbital Retail Park, two men were arrested at a nearby address, a 23-year-old man from Swindon and a 26-year-old man from Bristol, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
One has now been bailed and another released without charge.
