CHILDREN and staff past and present gathered at Westwood Park on Saturday to celebrate Westwood Nursery’s 30th birthday.
The afternoon was filled with a range of activities, including two bouncy castles and a Punch and Judy show, and there was an array of cakes and refreshments.
Joint chairman of the nursery committee Lilly Webb said: “The nursery provides a chance for parents to meet other parents and we feed into Westwood with Iford Primary School and Wingfield Primary School.
“We had a good mix of current children and their families, past children and staff members and people from the village. “It was lovely that so many people came out to support us and the turnout was fantastic, considering the weather forecast was so bad.”
