Fans of the Rocky Horror Picture Show turned out in drag and other costumes at the Palace Cinema, Devizes.
More than 100 people attended Tuesday night’s Devizes Festival screening of the film, with three-quarters of them dressed up.
Organiser Margaret Bryant said: “We had local people, but also people from Swindon, Essex and London.
“The festival likes to reach out to the whole community and have things on that appeal to everybody. It’s about making use of the cinema and getting a different audience to those who might go to some classical events.”
Festival committee member Jane Scorer said: “All the events are proving popular. We had a good evening with Andy McNab.
"The Cafe Scientifique talk [last night] and 4 Girls 4 Harps [tonight] are sold out.
"There are still tickets available for Arabella Weir on Sunday and David Starkey on June 21.”
For ticket details, see www.devizesfestival.co.uk, or call the box office at Devizes Books on (01380) 738686.
