A MAN has been arrested in the early hours of this morning after crashing what is thought to be a stolen car.
Just before 3am police were called to reports of a single vehicle collsion on the Queens Drive roundabout behind St Joseph's Catholic College.
When they arrived at the scene they found one male, who then tested positive on the breathalyser.
The male has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and taking without consent.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "We were called to the roundabout on the junction of Queens Drive and Drakes Way at 2.55am to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision.
"A Ford Focus had crashed on the roundabout and a male has now been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taking without consent.
"The male had extracated himself from the vehicle and waited for police to arrive. We left the scene at 4.36am by which time the vehicle had been fully recovered."
