Cakes baked by Richard E Grant, Christine Hamilton and Paul Hollywood will be up for grabs at a charity auction at the Corsham home of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason this weekend.

The rock star and his wife Annette are hosting an open garden weekend at Middlewick House, the former home of the Duchess of Cornwall, in aid of two Wiltshire charities.

Visitors to the 18th-century estate will be able to bid for cakes baked by a host of celebrities, with all funds raised to be split between the Bobby Van Trust and Chippenham’s Springboard Opportunity Centre.

Mr Mason will also be baking a cake himself, as well as showing visitors round the estate’s extensive gardens.

The gardens will be open from 11.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets for either day will be £5.
