A family fun day takes place at Battlesbury Barracks, Warminster, on Thursday from 3-7pm.
The home of the First Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment, in Woodcock Lane, will hold a number of activities including a cricket tournament, displays of military vehicles, bouncy castles, face-painting, hair-braiding and a raffle.
For older children there is the opportunity to fire real weapons at targets using a laser training system.
They can also have a go on the inflatable obstacle course or try their hand in the paintball firing range.
Families can tour the camp in a pony and trap.
The honorary colours of the Yorkshire Regiment will be paraded alongside the regulation colours and the battalion’s Corps of Drums will putting on a display of military music.
Entry is free.
