A woman and two men will appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on July 14 accused of causing suffering or unnecessary suffering to an animal by hanging a dog.
Veronica Reid, 43, of Woolpack Meadows, Trowbridge, Jon Allen, 26, of Kingsland Road, Bristol, and Paul Brown, 52, of Okehampton Road, Exeter, were charged on suspicion of an act of animal cruelty by the RSPCA.
The body of a dog was dug up from a garden of a house in Trowbridge in March, after the RSPCA carried out an investigation into a claim of animal cruelty.
The 10-year-old dog was excavated from an address at Woolpack Meadows.
