More than 200 guests enjoyed the Wiltshire Community Foundation’s annual celebration, held at West Lavington Manor.

The event, sponsored by Quilter Cheviot Investment Management, celebrates the achievements of the foundation and thanks donors for support.

It came at a good time, just as the foundation hit £17m in endowments.

Chief executive Rosemary Macdonald said: “We support individuals and community groups working to improve lives, from Salisbury to Swindon, Trowbridge to Tidworth.

“Last year our grants funded 157 groups to support 35,750 people.”

Richard Firth, the executive director of Quilter Cheviot in Salisbury, said: “We strive to be to be at the heart of the Wiltshire community and this event gave us the opportunity to thank the foundation and its volunteers for their hard work.”
