The Corsham School Year 11 prom went off with a sparkle, a fireworks display helping students celebrate the end of their school careers in style.
Students made their way to Calne’s Wellington Barn with the rolling countryside providing the perfect backdrop for a glamorous night of dancing with friends.
Many students took extra effort to plan their grand arrivals, as a whole host of different transportation pulled up outside the venue.
The night was rounded off with a fireworks display, with the sky a blaze of colours.
Ruth Powell, assistant year 11 learning manager, said: “It was a beautiful occasion in a perfect setting, with the students taking centre stage.
“It was a fantastic evening and the students were superb throughout. The rickshaw won best arrival and finding a winner for best dressed was challenging as they all looked incredible.
“It was a wonderful occasion and the students thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the end of year 11 with their friends and teachers.
“The fireworks were an amazing end to the evening and everyone went home with a smile on their face.”
