EMERGENCY services are in attendance at a crash on Purton Road involving a motorbike and a horsebox.
A 58-year-old man from Toothill, believed to be the rider of the black Honda bike, was treated for a leg fracture at the scene and taken to the Great Western Hospital by road ambulance.
The air ambulance was also scrambled to attend the accident.
The 7.5-tonne horsebox is not thought to have been carrying an animal.
The incident occurred shortly before 3pm and the top of Mead Way near Thamesdown Drive is closed. Surrounding roads are currently gridlocked so drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
