Youngsters from Stage-coach Theatre Arts Marlborough became pirates, Dracula and characters from Disney film Frozen on Saturday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
More than 60 children from four classes took part in the national footloose fundraising event which involved thousands of primary schools and 75 other Stagecoach schools.
The children, aged between four and 14, made a donation to wear fancy dress, and created an energetic dance number.
Principal of Stagecoach Marlborough, Ingrid Bayley, said: “There’s nothing so uplifting as a group dance but this has been all the more fulfilling as it’s in support of such a worthy cause.
“I’ve always thought I’d like to do something for Macmillan but I’ve never managed to fit it in before.
“We had a staff member (Caroline Brown) that we lost to cancer so it was nice to know that Macmillan is going to benefit from what we have done. Some of the children put in pennies because they used their own pocket money and it meant more knowing it had come from them personally.”
Stagecoach and Macmillan worked together for the event to create an educational toolkit.
