A POPULAR Corsham store has had its sparkle restored, after a complete renovation bringing it up to date.

The Original Factory Shop has been open in the Martingate Centre since 1998, but needed a fresh new look.

Store manager Catherine Symons said: “It was looking very old and quite dark and it had been a long time coming. It had lost its sparkle, but it’s definitely got it back now.

“Everything’s been changed now, the floor, the equipment, the ceiling; there’s nothing here now that was in the old shop.

“We’ve listened carefully to what our customers have been telling us and believe that the store’s new layout will be just what they want. It will be more spacious, more family friendly and have a brighter feel.

“We are looking forward to celebrating the store’s new look with our loyal customers and spreading the joy of bagging a genuine bargain.”

The store was officially re-launched with its new look on June 21, during the Corsham food and arts festivals, with a wheel-of-fortune style contest attracting the crowds.
