Motorcyclist, 61, seriously hurt in A30 accident

A motorcyclist was seriously hurt when his motorcycle collided with a red Ford Ka on the A30 at the junction with Firs Road, near Salisbury, yesterday afternoon.
Police said the man, 61, had sustained life changing injuries. He was taken to Southampton Hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
The woman passenger, who is 63, was also taken to hospital with suspected minor injuries.
The 21-year-old driver of the car was not injured.
