Staff from McDonald’s on the Spitfire retail park teamed up with the 1st Trowbridge Scout Group and Trowbridge Town Council for litter picking on Tuesday.
The clean-up took place between the retail park, the old council offices on Wiltshire Drive and Cherry Gardens on the Longfield estate, and aimed to encourage the local community to have neighbourhood pride.
It is one of hundreds of McDonald’s clean-ups taking place UK-wide in 2014 as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s anti-littering campaign, Love Where You Live.
Local McDonald’s franchisee Mike Guerin said: “We were keen to do what we could to help.”
McDonald’s crew members, the scouts and councillors gathered litter.
