A man who admitted carrying out a serious assault has been released on bail.
Edward Horne, 22, pleaded guilty to a charge of causing grievous bodily harm when he appeared before a judge at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
Horne, of Thomas Court, London Road, Calne, admitted assaulting Levi Sanders on Sunday, March 2.
Judge Douglas Filed adjourned the case to August 8 so the probation service can compile a pre-sentence report.
