A MAN who was caught with hard drugs in an alleyway in Gorse Hill has finally admitted being involved in dealing.
Sumon Gurung had been due to face trial at Swindon Crown Court charged with possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.
The 23-year-old, of Farnborough, Hampshire, was caught with the drugs in an alleyway off Cricklade Road on Thursday, December 12 last year.
Although he always admitted possession he denied they were for supply until the day of trial when he changed his pleas before a jury could be sworn in Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Tuesday August 12 so the probation service can compile a pre-sentence report, and released him on bail.
