YOUNG skateboarders, inliners and scooter riders are being invited to take part in a junior competition at the RampNation indoor skate park, off London Road in Devizes.
Co-owner Lucy Wain said: “Following the success of the Wiltshire Skate Series earlier in the summer, we are holding our own competition on Saturday, for younger riders up to and including 12 years.
“We have some incredibly good skateboarders and scooter riders in the older age group – nine to 12 – and some up-and-coming scooter riders in the under-eights section, so we are hoping for a good competition.”
The competition is open to youngsters of all abilities and registration starts at 10.30am, with the competition beginning at 11am.
The entry fee is £5 for each participant and prizes include a skateboard deck, Grit scooter, bars, grips and month’s pass to RampNation.
