A woman has been charged with perverting the course of justice following an attack in Trowbridge.
The incident took place on Sunday July 6 between 4am and 5am in both Ushers Court, Trowbridge and Conigre Square, Trowbridge.
A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the attack but has since been released.
Malgorzata Gilewska, 20, of Ashmead, Trowbridge, has been charged with perverting the course of justice. She has been released on bail.
She will appear at the North West Wiltshire Magistrates Court on August 21st 2014.
Dawid Majewski, 25, of Ashmead, Trowbridge, who was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to te incident will appear at Swindon Crown Court on August 8.
