Chance to give views on Wiltshire's wildlife

You have a chance to have a say on Wiltshire’s countryside for a scientific research project.
The project is being run by Cranfield University and the RSPB and is studying people’s perceptions on biodiversity, mainly ancient grasslands and farmland.
Three workshops have been carried out - in Seend, Salisbury and Amesbury - and now the researchers have launched an online survey to gather more views.
The survey at www.ppgis.manchester.ac.uk/bess/ asks people to mark on a map three places of personal importance and to score the broad habitat types of farmland and grassland.
It is part of a larger project looking at different types of eco-system services and is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council.
