Bradfords’s Youth Centre could be run by the town council in future.
The council is applying for a community asset transfer which would allow it to keep the building open for youngsters and other local groups.
A working group has been set up to explore ways to keep the Youth and Community Development Centre open for community use.
Wiltshire Council is currently carrying out a property review of the Frome Road building, and although the youth club is no longer operating, the other users will be able to continue until the review is complete.
Boacan, the Bradford on Avon Community Area Network, and the Youth Advisory Group are joining the efforts to save the building and get local people working with the newly formed Local Youth Network.
Anyone wanting to be part of the centre’s future – whatever their age, or area of interest – is invited to take part in an online survey at http://ow.ly/AelyU
