Melksham homes plan in spotlight

Melksham Without Parish Council will discuss new planning applications, including a proposal to build up to 170 homes on land east of Semington Road on Monday.

The meeting is at 7pm in the Christie Miller Sports Centre, Bowerhill.

I wonder if it will follow the usual planning guidelines.....

Build too many houses as close together as possible.
Make it impossible to navigate by using winding narrow roads.
Build garages and drives too small for modern cars.
Massively underestimate parking requirements.
Make the gardens as small as possible, using general rubbish as topsoil.
Ensure the majority are 'affordable'.
Ideally build on green belt or floodplain.
Listen to everyone, but build them anyway.
