A 59-year-old man who repeatedly sexually assaulted a woman has been warned he is facing a jail term.

Marian Armanouski, who needed a Polish interpreter, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.

Armanouski admitted offences against the same woman on Saturday, July 19, the following day, and then Sunday, August 17.

Michael Hall, defending, asked for a pre-sentence report to be prepared on his client before he is sentenced.

Judge Tim Mousley QC remanded Armanouski, of Close Lane, Marston, near Devizes, in custody and warned him: "You have pleaded guilty to serious offences which are very likely to result in a prison sentence.

"I will sentence you on October 14 and by then I will have reports on you so I will know more about you. You will stay in custody until then."
